We started our cattery on pure love for the Egyptian Mau! All of our cats and
kittens live the spoiled life. We raise all of our kittens in the house right along
with their Moms and Dad. Strider is especially great with all of his babies. Our
first responsibility is to our wonderful cats, who are more than just pets to us,
they are our children. We spend lots of time with each litter so our kittens have
wonderful temperaments. Each kitten is given daily attention and plenty of
cuddling. They are held from the moment they are born.Our kittens are well
socialized and very loving.
We feel very strongly against declawing. There are many tools that you cna use
to keep you cat happy and occupied. Cat scratching posts, ours really seems to
love the cardboards ones, really can help to keep your furniture safe. Also
offer plenty of toys to keep them happy.
The Egyptian Mau is easily trainable. We do not use any cages for permanent
housing. Your kitten will be raised in a bedroom right next to our bedroom. We
keep mom and dad right with the babies until they get picked up. I believe this
helps in their temperament. Making sure my babies have the best temperament is
my main goal.
